    Hi Dominic! I am a german children`s book author and illustrator. This might sounds strange but I once read about you in a german magazine called “Decoration” in Mai 2006. And whenever I look at that article – you, your family AND your philosophy of “living is a process” architecture – I feel insantly better. I can`t explain exactly why but maybe it`s because you are a clever and tasty antidote to all those “posh and clinical” architects out there. AND it reconcile me with my own way of living. Thank you!     Dear Mr. Stevens,

    I am a student of Architecture at the University of Berlin/ Germany.

    In the lecture courses “Building Science” we have an oral examination at the end of the semester. In this test we have to compare different buildings under the topic “Nature relationshipness”.

    During my research I found the “Mimetic House”. I think this house fits perfectly to the topic of the test and I would like to introduce this house to my professors.

    Therfor I need your help.

    If you agree with my intention to present “Mimetic House” during the test, I would be very happy.

    In the test I would like to talk about how the qualities of the nature in that region affect the design of the house and the choice of material which were used.
